Dear Potential Client,

I am happy to schedule an initial consultation to think together about how I may be of help to you, your family, or if you are interested in group psychotherapy. During this meeting, we will assess your current goals, whether I can support you in meeting those goals, and review my current availability if you are considering ongoing treatment. During this process I’ll make specific recommendations and provide referrals as needed and requested.

My fee per 45 minutes session (individual, family, couples, initial consultation) is $175. I do not currently accept insurances. I am not a Medicaid/Medicare provider. I accept checks/cash only at this point in time which is due at the time of service. I have a limited number of sliding scale slots available if you are interested. Please email me at chrisgrimesLCSW@gmail.com if you have additional questions. You may request an appointment for an initial consultation by clicking the orange “Request Appointment” button above.

Group Therapy Co-Ed (high school age) - Now Accepting Referrals

Chris Grimes, LCSW is now accepting referrals to develop adolescent group psychotherapy for adolescents in middle school transitioning and in high school, who find it difficult navigating family and peer relationships.  Often group members experience feeling isolated and misunderstood by others and/or desire to connect to others, but lack the skills or support to do so.

Group members may struggle with adjusting to family conflict, divorce, separation, sudden loss, a recent move, etc. Members find support in other members as they navigate important relationships and life events while practicing skills such as boundary setting, perspective-taking, and impact awareness. This is a closed group that will meet on Monday evenings from 6 pm – 7 pm.

Please contact Chris Grimes, LCSW at (713) 540-2838 or email me at chrisgrimesLCSW@gmail.com if you have referrals or questions. Cost of the group is $75 per session. Prospective members are required to meet for an initial session/interview to ensure the group is a good fit for the individual.  The group is scheduled to start August 19, 2019.
